The 2025 Ford Escape is a major attraction, offering a unique blend of sporty speed and fuel savings. And thanks to its roomy interior comfort and modern connectivity, this small SUV is as family-friendly as it is fun to drive!
This new Escape gives you everything you could possibly want in a small SUV! With six available trims, you can choose from budget-friendly Escape models (like the Active or ST-Line) or downright luxurious options (including the Platinum and ST-Line Elite). Inside, this new Escape offers hours of on-road comfort, thanks to a smooth suspension setup and roomy, supportive seats. Every Escape is also handsomely equipped with tech features, including the SYNC 4 infotainment system and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. For added comfort and style, available upgrades include cozy heated seats and a premium sound system (complete with subwoofer)! Ford’s compact crossover is also available with four engine options, offering everything from a swift, sporty performance to incredible efficiency.
The Escape offers six trim models: the Active, ST-Line, ST-Line Select, Platinum, ST-Line Elite, and Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV). If shopping for the “best” Escape model means the most luxurious option, you’ll love the top-tier Platinum and ST-Line Elite trims.
Compared to lower trim models, the Escape Platinum supplies all-out elegance and serenity. Up front, power-adjustable, heated front seats offer easygoing comfort. The Platinum’s ActiveX-trimmed upholstery is soft and breathable, and the material’s mini-perforation adds an extra layer of upscale style. In addition to the standard infotainment setup, the Platinum adds a bigger, 13.2-inch central touchscreen, Connected Navigation, and a wireless smartphone charging pad! Outside, the Platinum is also pretty flashy, featuring 19-inch aluminum wheels with Dark Tarnished-painted pockets.
The ST-Line Elite is also a very luxurious choice, combining many of the Platinum’s upscale features (like heated front seats and remote ignition) with the ST-Line’s sporty signature items (black exterior trim, skid plates, and 19-inch Ebony-painted wheels).
These upscale trim models also come standard with the Escape’s most powerful engine option, the 250-horsepower 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. With it, you’ll enjoy optimal speed, along with a composed, comfortable ride. Both of the Escape’s most luxurious trim models are also available with the powerful-yet-thrifty hybrid powertrain (details below), making it possible to earn up to 105 MPGe!
The most efficient version of this compact crossover, the Escape PHEV trim model, returns an incredible 105 MPGe! That’s thanks in part to its 37-mile all-electric range. Depending on how much you drive every day, you may not need to use much gasoline — or any at all! After you exhaust the PHEV’s electric range, this Escape automatically switches into hybrid mode, propelling you around town using both its electric motor and gas-powered engine. Running in hybrid mode alone, the Escape PHEV earns 40 mpg combined. The second-most efficient Escape powertrain is the classic, non-plug-in hybrid, which helps you earn 39 mpg combined (42 city/36 highway). This hybrid powertrain is optional for the ST-Line trim model and up! If you crave efficiency but prefer not to have to recharge your Escape’s powertrain, this powertrain comes highly recommended.
The 2025 Escape offers four engine options! However, availability varies according to trim model:
Possibly. Ford plans to focus more on its EV models, and the automaker had previously announced that it would eventually phase out both the compact Escape and midsize Edge crossover SUVs. Although we don’t yet know which model year will be the last, this very well could be your last chance to build and order a brand new Escape! Come on in to Lunghamer to build the perfect SUV for you!
