The upcoming Bronco should be as accommodating as the previous model, with a range of trim models and modern features. We expect to see the same six trim levels return for the 2023 model year: Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrak.
The Base will likely be stocked with roomy seating and cutting-edge tech features, including the Sync 4 infotainment system. We expect the Big Bend to add sporty upgrades, like LED fog lamps and all-terrain tires. The Black Diamond is meant to be more capable, adding rock rails and easy-to-clean interior features, like vinyl upholstery and rubberized flooring.
The Outer Banks is the Bronco’s swanky trim model, with leather-trimmed seats, ambient interior lighting, and a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Badlands is both upscale and capable, combining the Black Diamond upgrades with the Outer Banks upscale comforts. The Badlands is even more focused on off-road potential, with unique suspension, 33-inch all-terrain tires and a disconnecting front stabilizer bar. Finally, the Wildtrak comes standard with the V6 engine and extra G.O.A.T. Modes to help you navigate the most difficult terrain.
It’s also possible that we’ll see new versions of the Bronco Raptor, the desert-racing trim model, and the Bronco Everglades, the resident swamp crawler.
Depending on trim level, we expect the 2023 Bronco lineup to include a wide range of tech features and modern comforts:
- LED headlamps
- Convertible hardtop or soft top
- Cloth upholstery
- Sync 4 with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Optional leather-trimmed seating
- Optional heated seats and steering wheel
- Optional 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system
- Optional built-in navigation
