2022 Mustang EcoBoost Premium Fastback

The EcoBoost Premium Fastback trim model’s name tells you three important things. First, this Mustang is home to the EcoBoost powertrain, a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that balances athleticism with efficiency. Second, this sports coupe includes the Premium features, including leather-trimmed front seats and the SYNC 3 infotainment system. And, third, this Mustang trim model features the fastback roofline. In other words, it's a hardtop and not a convertible.

The EcoBoost Premium comes with the Mustang’s entry-level powertrain, the turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder engine connected to a six-speed manual transmission. The transmission sends 310 horsepower to the rear wheels, creating a quick, dynamic performance. A 10-speed automatic transmission is also available to improve EPA ratings, giving you up to 25 mpg combined.With the 2.3L High Performance package, you can boost total engine output to 332 horsepower.

In addition to its speedy-friendly EcoBoost engine, this Mustang also comes standard with coveted performance features. For example, launch control provides a very quick start, a feature that comes in handy on the drag strip. And an independent rear suspension lends itself to a dynamic performance on a winding road. Selectable Drive Modes (including Track and Drag Strip) alter transmission settings to cater to your current surrounds.
