For 2022, shoppers can choose between three new appearance packages: Ice White, Stealth, and Coastal Limited. The Ice White package includes clear LED taillamps and exclusive all-white features, inside and out. The Stealth edition includes the same clear LED taillamps, but otherwise gives your Mustang a blacked-out look. With the Coastal Limited, you get breezy style, with over-the-hood stripes, tarnished dark-painted wheels, and your choice of three exterior colors: Rapid Red, Cyber Orange, and Brittany Blue.

The California Special package has also returned for 2022. Available with the GT Performance Package, the California Special’s Lunghamer appearance is meant to conjure the original 1968 Mustang.

With its dramatic American style and sporty powertrain options, the Mustang appeals to drivers who want a sports coupe that looks as good as it feels on the road. Mustang shoppers can choose from a variety of trim levels, too, to improve performance or interior luxury.

Some Mustangs have a V8 engine, though not all. The 2022 Mustang EcoBoost models come standard with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It takes you for quite a ride, with 310 horsepower and very nimble handling. All other Mustang trim models come with the 5.0-liter V8 engine, delivering classic Mustang power with 450 horses.

Every 2022 Mustang comes with a line lock to help you facilitate burnouts at the track. And the standard limited-slip rear differential helps you zip around corners with maximum precision.
